Vanishing

The girl I once knew,
She's vanishing, vanishing.
The girl I once was,
She's vanishing, vanishing.
The girl in the photograph,
She's vanishing, vanishing.
The girl holding the football,
Still vanishing, and going.
She's smiling next to that boy,
The thought of his existence,
is vanishing, vanishing.
The others around her,
All the sport boys,
They're not cared for anymore.
One by one, the memories fall,
One by one, the pictures are torn.
She's smiling here, smiling there.
She looks so happy everywhere.
Don't worry, the sad girl's gone,
She has vanished as well.
Because when I look up,
I found new people.
And as much as I don't want the girl,
The girl I was close friends with,
to disappear.
I will allow it,
for the reason that,
this girl, this very girl,
Who was once me,
Was starting to kill me,
So she has vanished.
And still vanishing.
But who was she killed by?
Trick question, me.
Some random poem thing bob I wrote. It's not supposed to be a rant. I just came up with the idea because it seems like I'm almost letting go of the past, and while I don't want to, I have to.
